Let's have an Age Friendly Lambeth...

By consulting older people, the Age-Friendly Communities Framework was developed by the World Health Organisation. It is built on the evidence of what supports healthy and active ageing in a place.

Currently, in the UK, there are over 50 recognised boroughs/places that have committed to being an Age-Friendly place. Age UK Lambeth is committed to working in partnership with Lambeth Council to deliver on the commitment to being an Age-Friendly Borough made in February 2020

We know that the health and well-being of older people can be improved by engaging with older people and understanding the contribution they can make to improvements in health, social care and policies. We also know that older people are concerned with issues such as housing, transportation and climate change. All part of the Age-Friendly commitments.
