Living La Vida’s Loca!

Vida’s is back! This Tuesday saw the reopening of your Community space, and what a day it was…

We hope you all felt a part of a very special day. When we reopened the doors to Vida’s we were outstanded by the positive response from you all as we filled up within a few minutes! 

Friends were able to rejoice in the space they know is theirs while catching up on all things inside and outside of MYsocial. With snacks laid across the table and our trusted Philomena serving up hot and cold refreshments, we were greeted by the sounds of DJ Shadow Sister, both a friend and member of MYsocial.  

Dancing shoes on, we all had the chance to get up and move to the music before or after looking into the fantastic variety of sessions that are coming to Vida’s and the events happening outside of it. Thanks to the support of members Linda S, and Sheila F as they begin their own sessions with Linda running Hatha Yoga , and Sheila, Reiki, and Foot Spa treatment. These are also just a taste of what’s to come as we introduce :

•  The MYsocial Band, led by member Mel G, we’re calling for all musicians to reach out, rock out and come together every other Thursday. 

• Wednesdays with Philomena, enjoy light exercise with Kelley first thing before enjoying a day of laughter with friends, with lunch served at just £5.

• Mentoring by Lena, feeling stuck? MYsocial mentor Lena is here to help you explore your best options to start living life better!

• Martyn’s Crafty Chat, Feeling a bit crafty? Maybe a bit cheeky? Then perfect as every Saturday Martyn will be bringing you all together to talk about anything and everything while working on your crafty project.

These are just a few to mention however our work at Vida’s is never done. We’re constantly looking to evolve and transform what goes on in these four walls to keep your social lives as varied and exciting as possible. Have an idea of something you’d like to start? Don’t hesitate to ask! 

It was always going to be monumental for the organisation and members alike and that’s also due to the help of members, Sheila F, Mel G, Penny N, Deborah P, Gloria P, and Pauline B, so to those we also owe a huge thanks!

It was a great success for all those involved, laughter was heard, old flames ignited, it really was a sight to see, and without you all it wouldn’t be possible…
