Hello MYsocial Members,

I am writing to provide an update on how to pay the annual membership fee for MYsocial.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this process. We have been working hard in the background to organise membership payment methods and information, and we wanted to keep you in the loop.

How to pay the MYsocial membership fee:

The annual fee for MYsocial from April 2024 to the end of March 2025 is £50. This can be paid in ten payments of five pounds (April to January), four payments of £12.50 (every 3 months), or a one-off annual payment of £50. To make it nice and easy for you, you can pay by direct debit quarterly or annually, and this is our preferred payment method. This costs less too for the organisation so we can focus our funds on where they are needed the most.  We will be able to accept card and cash payments. 

For Members who have provided us with an email address, you will receive an email the first week of April with the links for payment. Online payments for the membership fee can be made from Monday the 8th April 2024.

Members will be able to pay in person or over the telephone from the 15th of April 2024 until the 15th of May 2024. You will be able to pay in person in our new offices at 10 Acre Lane, SW2 5SG (Lambeth opposite Lambeth Town Hall). The office will be open from 10 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday.

Membership enables members to continue to attend the current list of free activities, attend paying events at the current price, and priority bookings for one-off events. 

For those members who wish to donate to MYsocial, as part of our ‘Pay It Forward Scheme’ to support other members and the overall running of MYsocial, donations can be made via the MYsocial web page, from the 15th of April 2024.

For those members who chose not to pay for membership, you will be able to pay to attend individual events.  You will be able to pay for events in the same way through Churchsuite or the event email that you receive. 

Key dates:

Telephone payments for the membership fee can be made from the 15th of April 2024.

Online payments for the membership fee are open to members from the 8th of April 2024.

Payments in person for the annual membership fee can be made from the 15th of April 2024. Annual membership fee payment option needs to be set up by the 15th of May 2024.

The ‘Pay it forward scheme’ donations can be made from the 15th of April 2024 via the MYsocial webpage.
