See what moves you

Exercise: pretty close to magic for feeling better about life, the universe and everything. If you are able to go out for a walk – keeping social distance of at least 2 meters from anyone you don’t live with – it’s great. If you can jog or cycle (and social distance is important there as well), also good. For those of us who can’t get out:

If you aready have exercise routines you can do indoors enjoy them. If you want to make a start, in a very basic but very effective way, have a look at https://10today.co.uk/tune-in/

You might also want to try Tai Chi: calming and deep strength, powerful at any age. There are many places to look online, some better than others. For one very clear and simple start, you might have a look at  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEOS2zoyQw4

The options are endless. Look online and you’l find free dance classes of all kinds from complete beginner to ready for Strictly. Then there’s yoga, Pilates, and one of my favourites: fidgeting. That’s done by just… fidgeting a bit so I don’t get locked into sitting still. Standing up and simply moving or stretching whatever feels like it wants to be moved or stretched is also good fidgeting technique.

It’s discovery time for all of us these days. See what moves you.
